Groucho Publishing was formed in 1978 to supply hard to get motorcycles manuals to enthusiasts. In those days we specialised in reproductions of mainly Matchless and AJS manuals, which were sold to the Dutch market. Within the next 10 years we expanded and now we offer a range of British motorcycles manuals, handbooks and spares lists of over 500 titles. These are available through Elk Engineering.
In 1997 we ventured into the military side of manuals. This was a natural progression since our WD motorcycle reprints are amongst our best selling items.
Here is our complete range on military manuals, ranging from vehicles and radio’s to horse ailments and the German 1940 textbook on the Geneva convention. The main emphasis is on British manuals, but we also have about 200 US reprints on our lists.
As enthusiasts, we have access to many public and private collections, such as the library of the Dutch Verbindingsdienstmuseum in Ede, US Engineers manuals here again we have access to a large private collection..................
