11 months MOT and UK V5.
Original wartime body tub, chassis, fenders, windscreen frame, Front seats Grille, hood, axles and gearbox. Original data plates and chassis tag. Body number, chassis and hood numbers all fall in to the same production date. Original ww2 hood numbers discovered under paint during restoration and were left under new paint but sympathetically reapplied back over the new coat. Body tub taken back to metal and red oxide layer and rust removed with new metal welded in where required. Some small dents retained as this is the jeeps character and history.
Jeep came from Sacramento California approximately 6 years ago. Copies of Paperwork and photos have been made in to a history log for this jeep.
Engine rebuilt back to standard bore by a UK leading jeep supplier (documentation available).
Rebuilt gearbox New clutch, pressure plate, release bearing + carrier and pilot bushing.
New clutch shaft control and bushing 4 new combat wheels 1 old.
Original ww2 blackout light (new old stock). Original fire extinguisher bracket. Original air cleaner.
New fuel lines.
12 volt conversion, New battery. New Autolite distributor.
New lights front and rear. New ignition coil and leads. Solex carburettor. New starter ring gear.
Starter motor cleaned internally and new brushes. New brake lines, shoes and wheel cylinders.
New fuel tank. Tyres new approximately 300 miles ago.
New Worthing summer hood, seat cushions and straps.
Subtle period style indicators fitted.
Engine is the tougher post war type but it is a Go Devil L head.
Lots of receipts for parts.
