Schwimmwagen Type 166

Built in 1943. delivered to the Elite korps of AH himself, the Leibstandarte SS Bestensse.
Amazing not overrestored condition. The body seems to be all original, no bondo, no bad awfull repairs.
About 12 years ago fully restored by a VW collector in Muenchen Germany. Before that it was found in Austria. This is not an abused former Eatern-Europe vehicle that has been built up with repro parts and sold as an original.
The only modifications in got is a sightly more powerfull vw engine, stead of a 24,5 HP it now has a 30HP. Optical the same but bigger cubic and it has been converted to 12 volt. So with these modifications you can actually use it and drive it anywhere you want safely.
It has correct tires, many period accessoiries like MG ammo boxes, first aid kit, gasmasks etc.
Fully drivable, no work needed.
I traded it in 2 years ago, looks like it can swim but I never dared to try it.
German vehicle documents
VIN nr: 7-005374
Body nr: 005374
The official Birth Certificate of Volkswagen confirms all this
It says "ausgeliefert am 2 oktober 1943, gebaut am 22 September 1943
Bestimmungsort: SS Bestensee"
Incredible enough that they still carry all these data.

This Schwimmwagen also participated in a new war movie wich will be released next February"The Wereth Massacre"

Will not come cheap with this kind of history and originality.
€109,500
Will trade in other WW2 vehicles.
