I have a rare WW2 A.A. Tripod and Browning .50 M2 for sale. The Browning can be cocked and dry fired. It was manufactured by the A.C. Spark Plugs Division of General Motors. The tripod has the correct pintle mount and cage for the ammunition box. I have an ammunition box and some inert ‘43 dated linked rounds to go with it. Due to size and weight it will be have to be collection only from Newcastle upon Tyne.

Made by Vickers Armstrong, The British War Office were contracted to produce a special run of 200 Vickers to go to Egypt. These had unique serial number, ET1 to ET200. This one is number ET144. This example is in absolutely superb condition, it has many VA stamped parts, it still retains its original barrel which is stamped ET144. Cocks and dry fires and will strip down, Comes with a 1934 dated Enfield manufactured cradle with a 1942 dated tripod, and wooden storage chest. Many more photographs available on request.

The serial number dates to 1932. Around 98,000 or so were ever made with production ceasing in 1936. "Schnellfeuer" means “fast fire”, with the pistol capable of fully automatic fire. Other designations that it was given were the M1932 or M712. The Schnellfeuer was chambered in 7.63mm, a nonstandard German military calibre and deemed unsuitable for frontline troops. The majority were issued to the Waffen SS and other Nazi paramilitary organisations. They were hugely popular within these groups and units and were used to great effect throughout WWII, and along with the PO8 Luger, the Schnellfeuer was a very popular bring back by Allied troops. Quantities were also supplied to the Chinese who were then pro Nazi, this later changed after Japan invaded China, the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937 to 1945).
