Rare British Issue Remington Pump Action Fieldmaster .22 LR
Description below from the dealer I bought from. The barrel end cap is missing, I am manufacturing an another which will be included in sale.
This is a rare Second World War manufactured Remington Model 121 Field Master .22 Take-down / survival pump action rifle. Remington only used the double letters "PP" prefix in 1945 and the rifle has matching numbers to receiver, trigger mechanism and barrel. Now this is where it gets interesting. The rifle is clearly marked with the Remington maker and model etc but has been made to the same design as the BSA .22 rifle that was also in production at the same time. The offical US Remington model 121 design is VERY different from the BSA .22 rifle.The rifle bears the correct period British proof "BV" & "NP" used between 1925 to 1954. This leads us to conclude that it must have been made for use by the British. Quick disassembly stock/barrel. more pics on request. 07765641541

It has the correct features including humped back stock, moving dial sight and natural finish steel barrel, with moving parts and moving cocking handle and removable mag, comes with 2 Bren pouches and an original 1944 dated correct length Bren sling, manufactured by M.E.Co
