MARK CARTER MILITARIA & MEDAL FAIRS 2021
AS A RESULT OF THE EVER CHANGING CORONAVIRUS SITUATION PLEASE CHECK THE LATEST GOVERNMENT ADVICE FOR INDOOR EVENTS AND ALSO OUR WEBSITE BEFORE YOU TRAVEL IN CASE OF ANY LAST MINUTE CHANGES.

Obviously it goes without saying that should anyone develop Covid symptons (a high temperature/new continuous cough/a loss or change to sense of smell or taste) or if you are told to self isolate you MUST NOT attend.

Update for Yate fair on Sunday 15th August : Like all event organisers I've had to complete an extensive risk assessment which has been approved by the manager of Yate Leisure Centre so you can be sure that the environment on the day of the fair will be a safe and relaxed one. The great thing about Yate is that it's a very large and airy venue which makes it a great option for events like mine with the current state of affairs. We will have extra safety measures in action on the day for everyone's safety and reassurance including spacing between adjacent stallholders, wide aisles, ceiling extractor fans operating all day and doors open at both ends of the hall to improve airflow, hand sanitiser points, separate entry and exit doors for visitors and so on. Face coverings/masks (unless exempt) are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED in our hall especially at any busy times and it has been requested that they are worn AT ALL TIMES when moving around other less airy parts of the building (i.e. corridors, toilets, leisure centre entrance foyer, when walking to the cafe etc.).

Top quality fairs held at established, well lit venues with catering facilities.
We have organised fairs since 1987.

Mark Carter Militaria Fairs guarantee between 90 and 130 tables of quality militaria, medals and books at each fair.
The leading dealers from around the UK are always trading at our fairs – new dealers are always welcome.

Dealer’s tables are at very reasonable prices keeping them among the most competitively priced of all the quality fairs:
6' table £40, 9' table £58, 12' table £74, 18' table £100.
Additionally there is a £5 discount for early bookings.

All events are well signposted and have plenty of nearby parking.

We hope that you will become a regular attendee at these popular events.

ALDERSHOT

Sundays: 31st October
At the Princes Hall, Princes Way, Aldershot, Hampshire, GU11 1NX.
Next to Police Station, close to Town Centre and Railway Station. Just off A325 between Farnborough and Farnham. 10 minutes from Junction 4 on M3.

Established in 1988 this popular, well attended event moved to it's present spacious venue in 1992. Around 100 tables where you can buy, sell and exchange with quality dealers from many parts of the country.
Rushmoor Borough Council (who are responsible for all the council-run car parks in Aldershot) have recently introduced a flat charge of 60p ALL DAY on Sundays . This is an experiment to try and get more people to use the shops in Aldershot Town Centre but is most definitely also good news for us and hopefully it will become a permanent measure.. Obviously double check the parking meters first before putting your 60p in to ensure that this information is 100% correct but I do have it from a very good source.

The car parks relative to us are the Princes Gardens Car Park (GU11 1BJ) (just across the green from the front of Princes Hall) and the big multi storey car park (GU11 1SD) a short distance further down the High Street.

STRATFORD UPON AVON

Sundays: Unfortunately due to the planned major refurbishment work at Stratford Leisure Centre starting earlier than had been originally expected there will now NOT be any fairs here for the rest of 2021.
This is VERY, VERY disappointing news for all of us but this matter is totally out of my hands.

At Stratford Leisure and Visitor Centre, Bridgefoot, Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire, CV37 6YY.
Just off A439 Warwick rd. Close to town centre, just 10 minutes from M40 Junction 15, easy access from the UK motorway network.
There are 90 tables at this quality fair. This event was established in 1998 and took over from the popular event at Gloucester which dated back to 1987. It's position just a few minutes walk from the town centre makes it a favourite event for families. Only a few miles from Junction 15 on the M40, this fair has excellent connections to the nationwide Motorway network. This helps attract top dealers from many parts of the country. Pay and display parking.Google Map View
