The Overlord Show The Lawns, Denmead, PO7 6HS. The Overlord Show is the south coast’s premier military spectacular. Proudly organised by Solent Overlord Executive Military Collectors Club in support of military charities. With hundreds of military vehicles and reenactors from the Great War all the way through to modern day, accompanied by militaria traders from all over the country, it is a great day out for vehicle enthusiasts and history buffs alike. A great selection of food stands and our onsite beer tent mean you can easily spend the whole day to enjoy the hopefully sunny weather, arena events and professionally re-enacted battles. The Royal Review Land Rover will be present, plus BBMF Spitfire and Hurricane flypasts. 1940's,50's and 60's dance and music.

D-Day 80th Anniversary Armed Forces Day Commemorative Convoy Starting in Basingstoke the route is via Kingsclere, former RAF/USAAF Greenham Common, Newbury Town Centre to Hungerford.  All locations have extensive D-Day relevant history.  Hungerford welcomes us for the weekend with events on both the 29th and 30th June.  Camping area available.  Entertainment/parades/displays/living history/Dedication of special memorial/Vehicles given exclusive access to Hungerford Common where Eisenhower met troops under canvas just before D-Day.  For interest there are remains of former WW2 airfields close by.  All ages of vehicles welcome.  To register your early interest and for more information please see our website.
