1943 Ford GPW Jeep

This jeep was subject to a 5 year ground up sympathetic restoration by my father who is a master mechanic.
Great care was taken to keep as much originality and patina as possible and we have a full photographic record of the restoration along with all parts receipts.
Since completion the vehicle has always been garaged and only used for the south eastern show circuit and a couple of trips to France for the d-day celebrations.
Built in 1943 it was registered in the UK in 1948 with the registration HDF 38 which it still carries.
The vehicle has several original desirable extras such as the rifle holder on the dash, combat rims, antenna, water bottle and fire extinguisher.
This is a genuine reluctant sale as my father is now too old to drive the Jeep.
Genuine interest and offers welcome.
£18,950.
