Ex-BAOR, LHD, all original, bought by me direct from MoD agents in 1994.
Full military history, well maintained, just completed restoration.
Just completed a major body-off, bare metal respray and nut and bolt restoration over the last 2 years.
Work done includes:
All bodywork removed, blasted, etch primed, sprayed NATO Green satin, all new rivets, bolts, washers etc.
Original chassis, minor repairs, cleaned, repainted. Front and rear propshafts u/j's replaced, new gaiters.
Brakes checked, cleaned. Front swivel housing rebuilt. Turner Engineering unleaded high performance cylinder head. Overhauled carburettor. Complete new clutch assembly-pressure plate, driven plate, thrust bearing plus flywheel spigot bush. Gearbox(D suffix)strip down, new layshaft, bearings etc. 2 new fuel tanks. Both footwell sides cut out, new sections fitted, welded and sealed. Minor repairs to vent panel.New seals to vent panel, windscreen, doors, tailgate. New heavy duty battery, stainless exhaust. New doors, tops and bottoms. Complete new sidelights, indicators. Halogen headlamps(NATO originals supplied).New front bumper.
Comes complete with rare, correct military mobile spotlight, c/w two even rarer swivel mountings, plus pioneer tools on tailgate.
All documentation supplied, incl all MoTs from 1994, military release papers, military service record, and CES (not a copy).
The Landrover is in superb original condition, virtually ex-factory and represents superb value at £13,750.
