Austin Champ 1953

Owing to the Champ now being under utilised, feels it would be better in the ownership of someone who will get more use and fun out of the vehicle.
The Champ is fitted with 5 brand new bar grip tyres, together with many other additional standard items of equipment including, a search light,fire extinguisher, pioneer tools, floor slats, rear mud flaps, a canvas radiator cowl, map cases, jerry can holder, radio ariel mounts and (dummy) ariel’s, and the vehicle is fitted with the rear seats.
The Champ recently received a replacement set of valve stem seals, together with and a new main fuel filter element and a 12v battery.
The vehicle comes with a host of spare parts accumulated over the years and during the period of restoration all of which will be included in the sale, see below:
Rear axle. Front axle. Prop shaft. Radiator. Shock absorbers. Wheels. Fuel tank sender unit. A set of remanufactured, side screens, doors, door frames, all of which have never been fitted, plus a considerable number of smaller components and fixings, too many to list. Because most of the major Champ components do tend to be heavy, some dedicated handling equipment has been developed to make these tasks easier and more manageable, this includes an axle work trolley/ stand, an axle skid trolley, also an adjustable engine lifting rig.
All the items listed above will be included in the sale.
