This has been a project for the last few years.
I have replaced all the braking components, with new copper lines instead of the rusty steel.
It also has a NOS fuel pump and carb fittings as they were not all there.
New plugs (they're HOW much???) & points. The top end has been overhauled. Valves cleaned & re-ground, gaps reset, new head gasket etc.
It's not prepped specifically for unleaded fuel, but I do run a Broquet in the tank.
Not that I've done many miles.
UK road registered, currently SORN, Tax & MOT exempt. It can be re-registered with a non-year plate, but I chose to make the plates removable with a couple of screws.
There is a top, which is in good condition. I just didn't put it on for the photos as it's a bit of a faff.
There are no doors, but there are side curtains. they are in good condition but have a couple of straps missing off the bottom.
No rips or tears though. There is also an original shovel and axe. Perhaps unnecessarily, it's been painted in 4-colour MERDC Summer Verdant which was probably a bit of a vanity thing.
Bad points? The rear diff has leaked since I got it (its stopped now though ha ha) I have the seal kit. And it needs re-timing and the mixture setting.
It does run, but not very well. As you can see I did get it running for the photo shoot. In fact I surprised myself how easily it started & kept going while I took snaps so I put it back in the garage (where it's always stored) while I was on a roll.
You may wonder why I didn't just do these simple jobs before selling it, and I had every intention, but I'm just not getting round to it which is why it has to go.
Too many projects - not enough time. I think the price is reasonable for a sound vehicle, but I'll listen to reasonable offers from reasonable people.
