Ex-MOD Land Rover Series III 109 – 1982 – Full Canvas Tilt – Genuine Restoration Project

This is an increasingly hard-to-find, authentic ex-MOD vehicle with documented military history.
It was supplied to the Ministry of Defence in 1982 and was released from service in 1998, when it was correctly registered on an age-related registration number. It comes with a V5C and is currently SORN.
The vehicle is fitted with the original 2,286cc petrol engine. The engine requires rebuilding following failure and the cylinder head has already been removed.
Prior to the engine issue, the Land Rover was a running vehicle. Importantly, all major parts are present, and a quantity of additional spares is included in the sale. The chassis, rear crossmember, bulkhead and floors all appear to be in good condition, making this an excellent basis for restoration.
The vehicle has been dry-stored in a barn for many years, helping to preserve its overall condition.
