1966 Mk 1/2 Daimler Ferret with Rolls Royce B60 4.2 petrol engine.
I have had this Ferret for over 16 years and loved her. She is kept in the garage and never left outside in the rain.
Everything works as it should. This version has been fitted with the hard to find brake servo so she stops quickly!
As you can see from the images she is in very good condition.
Many recent new parts include: Carburettor, commanders seat, windscreen, New fuel pump, electronic distributor, fuel filter and spot light. I have loads of spare parts including new gearbox brake bands, new brake shoes, electrical wiring etc and workshop manual with in-service photographs. She is road registered and ready to go.
The Bren gun is NOT included, however the gun mount is.
She has a working intercom system and various radios with antennas.
I am quite happy to teach her new keeper how to drive her correctly and to walk them through the maintenance procedures prior to sale.
She is registered under ”Historic Vehicle” so the tax is free and MOT exempt. Also comes with the service record from the Army.
NOTE, I am also considering selling my British Army 9X9 tent, cot bed and wilderness stove as a complete kit separately.
